A sleep study is a specialist requested test. This means that you will require a specialist referral (from an ENT surgeon, neurologist or sleep physician) to have this test performed.
If you think you have a sleep disorder, you must first see your general practitioner and ask for a referral to see us.
When the referral is received, a receptionist will call you to make a booking with a sleep/respiratory physician in the first instance. This will attract a cost and the receptionist will discuss this with you.
At your sleep/respiratory physician appointment the physician will advise what sort of sleep test is indicated.
A receptionist will then book you in for the requested sleep study. The receptionist will discuss the options for booking and subsequent costs involved.
